The AME Group has been around a long time, adjusting to industry and economic challenges. Long term consistency is crucial for any organization. To foster consistency, it is essential to establish a culture of accountability, honesty, and innovation. This means holding ourselves and others responsible for our actions, ensuring transparency in all our dealings, and being flexible and creative.
The AME Group is 100% employee owned. This ownership structure creates a strong sense of commitment and dedication among employees, as they have a direct stake in the company’s success. Investing in our employees helps in their professional growth, overall job satisfaction, and client satisfaction.
By prioritizing the well-being of our clients, vendors, and colleagues, we are fostering positive relationships and creating a satisfying work experience. When people feel respected and valued, they are more likely to be motivated and engaged, leading to better outcomes for all.
The AME Group is an ESOP, Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
With 100% employee ownership, all employees collectively own the company. This means that you have a direct stake in the organization’s success.
You are gifted shares of the company’s profits based on performance. The longer you stay, the more shares you have. When you leave or retire, you get paid for your shares.
You may not want to stay long enough to retire from AME, but under this structure, the company is more likely to stay in business a long time. Many companies have sold or gone out of business when the owner wants to retire. Under the ESOP plan, that is not necessary.
Studies have shown that employee-owned companies often have higher levels of job satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall well-being. When you have a direct stake in the success of the company, you are more likely to be motivated, committed, and passionate about your work. This sense of ownership can lead to a positive work environment and stronger teamwork among employees.
I started with the AME group in August 2020 in the Operational Support Center doing remote support for a diverse group of clients. I grew into training our new hires for this team and less than a year later, I moved into our next level of support handling escalation tickets and continued developing my skills as a trainer and mentor for new hires. In 2024 I was promoted to Squad Manager.
I like helping people and I’m happy to be an employee owner at The AME Group.
I joined AME in 2017. While working on my CompTIA A+ certification, I attended an Ivy Tech job fair and stopped by AME’s booth. One thing that stood out about them was their genuine interest in me and my aspirations regarding the A+ and beyond. This first IT role allowed me to comfortably gain hands-on IT experience and complete my A+ certification. I worked with a great team for the next six years as a Service Technician for a large enterprise healthcare account, even getting promoted to Lead Service Technician.
Last year, AME offered me another opportunity and I was promoted to our Security Team. I am grateful to AME for taking a chance with me twice, first as a technician and now in my new role. I am learning every day and have been given more training opportunities to further my experience relating to cybersecurity and M365. I will continue my education and develop my skills as a Security Technician.
I’m looking forward to everything AME can offer me.
Since I joined The AME Group in April 2022, I’ve found immense satisfaction in my role. What’s truly remarkable to me is the exceptional individuals I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. From my very first interviews, I’ve been surrounded by kind-hearted colleagues who genuinely care about each other’s success. Moreover, I’m grateful to have a manager who not only fosters my professional growth but also demonstrates genuine concern for my development beyond the workplace. This culture of support and encouragement makes The AME Group a workplace unlike any other.
